Lord Tweedmouth, First Lord <d the Admiralty, speaking at a dinner given by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, again emphasised the necessity of maintaining our command of the seas. Britain's ideal, he said, should be to make the army and navy work together and into each other's hands.
