AGO DOCK TRUST.
[IIY TI-XKGKAPH.— ASSOCIATION':] Dp-NEDIK, Wednesday Vr a meeting of the Harbour Board tomorrow the Board's representatives at the recent conference with the Oiago DotTrust will submit the following resolution, which was unanimously agreed to by the conference, "That this conference ris- of opinion that in the interests of the port of Otago tlio Harbour Board and the Bock Trust should amalgamate, and that the Harbour Board should thereafter cany on the business of the Dock Trust. The toJowing are. the main questions which would form the basis of amalgamation:—{a) At, least £10,000 would be required to equip ana finish the dock: (to responsibility of th« final settlement of the dock contract; (c) reduction of interest on the debentures to 4$ per cent. ; (d) the transfer of existing guarantees to the Harbour Board; (e) necessary 'legislation to carry the amalgamation , into effect."-
