TERMINATING BUILDING SOCIETY.
LIST OF APPROPRIATIONS.
A meeting of the Auckland Co-operative Terminating Building Society was hold in St. James' Hall last evening when 15 appropriations advertised were allotted. In the first group £400 was balloted for, the successful number being 228, and the owner having two shares took the total amount. The second group was a sale of £4-03, and tha, highest tender was £52. 12s 6d, only £200 being required. The'next tender was £52 10s 6d per £200„requiring £400, making a total of £600 in the group. In the third group, a ballot of £400, 78 was the first number drawn, and the owner having two shares takes £400. Number 165 was drawn for the next group, a ballot of £400, and .the owner only holding one share took £200. The next number drawn was 192, and the owner having two shares takes the next £400, making a total of £600. The fifth group was a sale of £400, and the highest tender £65 2s 6d, the owner requiring £200. The next tender was £65 Is per £200, requiring £400, and making £600 altogether. No. 6 group—A sale of £400 was tendered for at. £63 l?s 6d. taking onlv £200. The next tender was £68 10s per' £200, taking £400. and making a "total of £600 for the group. Number 913 was successful in the seventh group, a ballot of £400, and the owner holding two shares takes the £400. In .the- • eighth group, No.' 997, with two shares, takes the total amount. No. 9 was a sale, and the highest tender forthcoming was £70 12s M, onlv requiring £200. The next, tender was £63 10s per £200, and there being two tenders at the same price the matter was left bv the chairman to the members affected to settle tor themselves. The highest tender for No. 10 group, a sale of £400, was £70 Is per £200, taking £400. No. 888 was successful in the eleventh group, a ballot of £400. and holding two shares takes the full amount. The next group was a sale of £400. and the highest tender, £70 2s 6d per £200, takes £400. In the following group No. 773 was drawn for a ballot of £400, and holding two shares takes the full amount. The highest tender for No. 14 group was £70 2s 6,1 only requiring £200. and the next, was £70 per £200, taking £400. The fifteenth and final group was a ballot of £400, and was drawn by No. 355, holding two shares, which carry the full amount.
