MR. PRICE EXPLAINS.

Mr. Thomas Price, Premier of South Australia, interviewed by the Morning Post, explained that Australia's attitude in the matter of military defence was partly prompted by fear that a great awakening of China might constitute a yellow peril, and also by Australia desiring to fulfil her part in Imperial defence. Mr. Price declared that protection was for Australia a fixed policy, with preference to England allowed for.
