THE GOVERNOR.
His Excellency the Governor (Lord Plunket), in company with the Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward), left Auckland by special train at 7.45 yesterday morning, to attend the native gathering at'Waharoa, His Excellency will return to Auckland today, and on Wednesday next will lay the foundation-stone of the Grafton bridge.
Lady Phuket, accompanied by the Hon. Kathleen Plunket, Mrs. Waterfield, and Captain Lyon, A.D.C., wil arrive at Onehunga from New Plymouth by the Rarawa this morning.
