-—•■—<•<■ HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. A LARGE audience was again attracted to His Majesty's Theatre la»st evening by Carter, the magician. The various illusions and sleight-of-hand acts as usual mystified the audience. In the second act Miss Abigail Prioo gave her exhibition of mental telepathy. Miss Price will bolt! a matinee this afternoon at which only ladies will be admitted. The last four nights of the season are announced. MISS MARIE LAWREY. Miss Marie Lawrey (Madame Shoeemith), whoso tine mezzo-soprano voice was pleasantly familiar to Auckland concert-goers i,omc' few years ago, will give a concert in the Choral"Hall on Thursday, the 26th inst., in conjunction with a iirst-class company of artists, prior to her departure for America. Miss Lawrey's programme will bo selected from an extensive repertoire, interspersed with popular specimens of song literature of various nations.
