PRELIMINARY ARRANGEMENTS.

The deposit was due on 'Saturday.' ■;. ■;'."■" Webb did a very solid and satisfactory row over the championship course yesterday, and thisi morning both, -Tresidder and Webb put in good work. Tresidder rowed up yesterday ; a distance of seven miles to his camp, half a. mile from the winning post. His work this morning consisted of a. hard row tip and down the course, while Webb indulged .in ah occasional sprint. The New Zealander during the Last few days, has been doing a little hill-climbing in addition to ordinary training.
