NAVAL ESTIMATES.

MAINTAINING EFFICIENCY. REDUCTION OPPOSED. By Talegrapb.— Atsociatioo.—Copyright London, February 11. The moderate Liberal members of the House of Commons have passed a resolution to the effect that they are confident the Government will preserve the defences of the Empire in a state of complete efficiency. They deprecate any pressure on the Government to induce it to modify the Naval Estimates, which the Government's deliberate judgment approved.

The Daily Graphic reports that the Government proposes, an increase of a million and a-half sterling in the Naval 'Estimates, and some reduction in the Army Estimates.
