EGYPTIAN NATIONALISTS.
DEATH OF THEIR LEADER. , By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. Cairo, February 11. The death is announced of Mustapha Kamel Pasha, leader of the Egyptian Nationalists. He leaves no successor to lead the party in the' future. Kamel Paslv' was a notorious agitator, ■whose national patriotism was of an unmistakably anti-British brand. : Writing to the London press some thine ago, lie denied the charges so often made by "the enemies of Egypt, and those who have an interest in deceiving Great Britain, that I advocate the cession of Egypt to the Turks, that I excite the Mussulmans to fanaticism against Christianity, and that I am a strong, partisan of the German policy, or that 1 encourage sedition and disloyalty." But nevertheless, his party, always noisy and reckless, used to cause Lord Cromer much uneasiness, and his ' successor (Sir Eldon Gorst) will have an easier task now that the Pasha has gone.
