A CREDULOUS CLERGYMAN.

Joseph Daly, alias James Dale, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to-day to obtaining various sums of money from a clergyman by false pretences. Accused had called on the clergyman and obtained money by telling stories of a sister who was needing help and guidance. It seemed that accused was subject to tits,' and was perhaps not thoroughly responsible for his actions. He was remanded till Friday for sentence.
