CENTRAL MENTAL HOSPITAL.
PROPOSED MAIN TRUNK SITE. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. It is announced in Wellington to-day that the Government intends, if a suitable site can be procured, to establish a large central mental hospital on the Main Trunk line, with a large area of land attached, on which patients' labour could be utilised.
