THE PANAMA CANAL.
THIRTY MILLIONS MORE.

New York, January 14. It is reported in Washington that the Panama Canal will cost thirty millions sterling above the estimates, revisions made in the, cost of removing the material and the amount to be removed accounting for the difference.
Even with this extreme cost warships of the Dreadnought class will be unable to use the canal.
