WELLINGTON PATENT SLIP.
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN' CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Tuesday. The directors of the Patent Slip Company have issued a circular to shareholders instructing them that the Union Steam Ship Company has obtained an option over 90 per cent, of the shares, at £4 10e per share. Each shareholder is asked whether he is prepared to sell his holding at this price, while it is pointed out that the directors themselves have under their control a sufficient number of shares to cover the option.
