BURGLARIES IN WELLINGTON
JEWELLERY STOLEN.
[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday.. Two burglaries have taken place within the last two days. A dwelling occupied by Mr. W. A. Clarke at 7, Maefarlane-street, was entered first and a quantity of jewellery stolen to the value of £54. Yesterday afternoon an entrance was effected into the house of Mr. C. A. Hickson, Commissioner of Stamps, Fitzherbcrt-street, and jewellery valued at £30 was removed. So far the culprits have not been discovered.
