GISBORNE WATER WORKS.

GiSBpRXK, Thursday. The contractors for laying the watermains from l.'e Aral are making steady progress. One gang lias reached to le Aral bridge, and another gang commented work on the town side of the Pipiwhaka di-in, about, a mile ahead of the other, on Monday. The last joint of the reticulation contract is completed.
