FIRE AT TAKAPUNA.
A hvb-koomkd .house at Takapuna, owned by Miss Majors« and leused to Mr. T. Sheriff, was destroyed by fire on Monday evening, everything being lost. Mn Sheriff had not been residing there for some little time, although his furniture was in the house. It is not known how the fire originated'. The building and furniture were insured, the former for £150 in the National Insurance Company, but the latter could not be ascertained.
