HOCKEY.
The various championship matches, under the auspices of the Auckland Hockey 'Association, ; were continued' on Saturday afternoon. In the senior grade the Auckland A team met University at the Domain, and defeated the students' team by 5 goals to 1. At Remuera, United beat Auckland B by 3 goals to nil, and Ponsonby beat St. George's by 6 goals to 3.
