' AN ONION ; CASE. ; : ; , The case in which McCarten Brothers, of Onehunga, carters and contractors, claimed from A. B. Donald,' trading as Donald and Edenborough, merchants arid auctioneers, the sum of £20 10s 2d, as being the value of 80 bags of onions, sold and delivered, was concluded* before Mr. C. C. Kettle, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Alter hearing further evidence, His Worship gave judgment for the amount claimed, with costs,- defendants to have what amount the goods brought at auction. It was held that the defence that the contract had been' 1 cancelled and abandoned by mutual consent had not been .established. ':■ •
