PLOT AGAINST THE TSAR.
A GIRL CONSPIRATOR.
By Telegraph.—Press Association— Copyright. - St. Petersburg, . May 23. In connection with Me recent plot against the life of the Tsar, it is stated that a Russian girl student and revolutionary offered £800 to a member of the Tsar's Cossack bodyguard to assassinate the Tsar during his sleep.
By direction of : Prince Trubezkey, ihe commander of the Palace Guards, the Cossack haggled for £1000. When he was , about to mount guard in the evening fixed as the time for the attempt the conspirators handed him two infernal machines of the size of a watch, with directions to place them beneath the beds of the Tsar and Tsarevitch. The arrests made numbered eighty.
