RAILWAY FATALITY.
LINE inspector KILLED. ■; [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.]: > ' Taihape, Friday. A fatal accident occurred near Waiouru last, night. Mr. George Forsyth, an. inspector on the railway line, -was riding on a',l ballast engine,' : ; when Z a sudden lurch threw him out, and a wheel passed over his left leg, practically severing the limb. A special train brought the injured man to Taihape, but he died at midnight.,"
The. deceased was a son of , Mr. J. N. Forsyth, of Dunedin, and a brother of Mr. D. M. Forsyth, of Auckland. • He was at one time engaged as inspector of the PaeroaWaihi railway line, subsequently being removed to Taihape. ,
