GAMBLING IN WELLINGTON.
"TWO-UP" SCHOOL RAIDED.

, Wellington, Tuesday. At a late hour last night the police raided a "two-up" school in premises up a narrow alleyway between Carroll's tea rooms and the Singer Company's premises, in ' Willisstreet. Sixty-eight persons were arrested, and by two a.m. all were bailed out. The men appeared before the Magistrate's Court to-day, and were remanded at counsel's request, bail' being allowed, viz., £5 each; The alleged keeper of the place; 'Sydney McNamara, was admitted to bail in a surety of £25. : ' ;.• " • " !
