O'Brien was. spokesman:•: waited on Wo Council and mauired about : the present position.-of the. aVainage of the low level; at Cheltenham. The deputation was informed that the, facial apparatus required for lifting the sewace to overcome the difficulty,; of the absence of'a-.proper fall had been ordered by. Mr.Motcalfo, and the' work -would-be carried out"- at the-earliest opportunity. . j '•' Attention was >also: drawn i by ; the deputation to Iho condition of Rata Road, the road and ■footpath being unformed for a consider- ] able distance.
