Fowlds was asked if Parliament would pro- ; ; vide a subsidy of £ for £ to assist in the erection of a building for Yaralla Kinder- .'. garten, which is forced to find new quarters. The Minister said he was not pre•pared to say definitely, but thought the grant was likely to be forthcoming. He h; spoke at some length, sympathising most cordially with the work of the Dunedin As- ' sociation, which has been carried on without interruption for the last 18 years with • great success.
