HOURS OF PRISON OFFICIALS.

Dunedin, Saturday. The Dunedin prison officials have presented Mr. J. F. Arnold, M.H.R., with a sil-ver-mounted dressing case in recognition of his efforts to have the hours of warders reduced, the number off duty on Saturdays and Sundays increased, and to obtain additional house allowance. It was stated that the prison officers throughout New Zealand recognise 'in Mr. Arnold the best friend they have ever had in Parliament.
