Will you kindly grant space to show another ■ similar act of injustice practised on the' confiding public at Dcvonport. On March 21 last a notice appeared in the paper: notify- • ing the public that permission' had been given to the Cricket 'Association' to maiki? a charge for admission on the following Satur- ; ;■; day, March 23, and signed: by -the secretary of the Devonport Domain Board. As no meeting of the Board was held until after ; the charge had been made, and as tho Act ; provides for 14 days', notice, to bo given before any charge can bo, made, the public have again been led astray, arid yet some . of the members of this Board have been returned to power by grateful electors.
