OLD "THAMES BOYS' ASSOCIATION. The fourth annual meeting of the i Old Thames Boys' Association was held in, tho Waiteinata Hotel last ' evening. M v . Dr. H.-Grattan Guinness, F.R.A.S., was present, and delivered a lecture entitled, "The New World of Central Africa,", illustrated by many views. ■ V . OTAHUHU ROAD BOARD. . ■ The first meeting of the newly-elected Otahuhu Road Board was held on. Tuesday. Mr. J. Todd ; was re-elected' chairman. Tho first meeting of the newly-elected Northcote School Committee was held in the schoolroom .' on Thursday f night, when • there were ' present: ; Messrs. A. Bonner (chairman), J. Maguinncss,' W. Dobbins, .A. E. ?Greenslade, J. Grange, P. W.. Bolland, ' and Mesdaines - Orroiston and Bolland. •Mr. Robt. Webb resigned his position as a member of the committee, and Mr. E. G. Skeates was appointed to the vacancy. -The headmaster reported that the average roll number for the month of April, was 402, an increase on that of March, whilst the average . attendance for the month was 367.7.
