EXPLOSION OF BENZINE.
GIRL SEVERELY BURNED.

Hokitika, Friday, " Annie Brown, a young girl, was severely burned last night by the accidental explosion of benzino in an; outhouse. She had used a lighted match to look for lie benzine. ' A loud explosion" was hoard, and when the people of the house rushed out they found tho shed full of flames and the girl's ' clothes on fire.
: . The unfortunate girl was carried' out and the flames smothered with blankets, but she was severely burned about the face, hands, and body. Her condition is critical. .
