MR. CRICK'S COMPLAINT.
WHY SUMMONSES WERE REFUSED.

Sydney, May 10. The Acting Under-Secretary, replying on behalf of the Attorney-General to Mr. Crick's complaint as to the 'non-issue of summonses, states that Mr. Wade (the At-torney-General) did- not authorise "the refusals, the magistrates acting on their own discretion. The reports from the , magistrates showed that they refused to issue the summonses because Mr. Crick declined to give any particulars of the alleged conspiracy. :./ ___- -■ ■■■ -
