Cast, the prisoner who escaped from Ikrriua Gaol on April 19, was rearrested today - at: Forbes, after an exciting chase. During the pursuit he fired a pea-rifle at the. police, who replied with their revolvers. When closed with be used the butt end of his rifle, and also his teeth, to resist capture. ■ A stolen horse and a sulky and a tent were found in his possession.
