TRENTHAM HALL.
' OFFERED FOR A COLONIAL qOLLEGE. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. London, May 7. The Duke of Sutherland has offered Trentham Hall, Stoke-on-Trent, for the purposes of a colonial college. He has asked the Premiers to inspect the building. Trentham Hall is three miles from Stoke-on-Trent, .and is one of the many country seats of the Duke of Sutherland. In December, 1905, the Duk<» offered the mansion to the Staffordshire County Council for the purposes of its higher education scheme, but the offer -was declined. '
