:-. ; HAWKE'S; BAY IN PROTEST. ,- ' [BY TELEGRAPH,— ; ASSOCIATION.] ; Napier, Tuesday. The Hawke's Bay Rugby Union, at their meeting to-night, passed the following resolution:—"That 4 this ; union viewsV with disapproval the movement now being made to ; send \ a professional • team of, footballers to- England, and urges the New Zealand Rugby Union to do its utmost to kill - the proposal, : as in the opinion ;of this: union it is likely to have a very damaging effect upon- 'amateur ; Rugby football ;in the future."
