SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.

Sydney, April 7. The sculling champion, George Towns, has relinquished the championship to his brother Charles. It is believed here that the latter'* first match will be with Webb, the New Zealand sculler.
WEBB TO TOWNS.

Wanoanci, Saturday.
On the understanding that George Towns intends forfeiting the world's champion* ship to his brother Charles, Mr. W. It. Tuck, on behalf of Webb, has deposited £100 with the editor of the Herald to bind a. match with Charles Towns for the sculling championship. A challenge has been Cabled to Towns and to the Sydney Referee, Webb suggest* that the race should be rowed on June 20.
