Received April 5, 10.58 p.m.) Pretoria, April 5. The Colonial Secretary for the Transvaal (Dr. Smuts), in an interview, has stated that the Government is willing to repatriate the irreconcilable Boers, but will insist upon their taking the oath or making a declaration of allegiance.
A number of the Boer prisoners tli.it were sent to Ceylon have not yet been repatriated, having refused to take the oath of allegiance.
