The following additions to the Commission of tho Peace for Auckland and adjacent districts are announced, amongst a batch of 88, in to-night's Gazette: —Messrs. F. E. Basley, Te Akau ; W. A. Carter, Mangapapa Valley; W. Chadwick, Pahi; G. N. Christian. Kotare : H. A. E. Puns ford, Komata ; J. Grant, Murupera; J. Hamilton, Awhitu; K. J. Kelly, Maketu; W. W. Kerr, Ohakune; Geo. Kirk, Waipu; C. B. King, Grey" Lynn; A. J. Logan, Papatoetoe; J. B. Macfarlane, Auckland X. A. Nathan, Auckland: T. Nield, Aratapu; C. Norgrove, Ponsonby ; G. H. Powell, Ponsonby; F. Prime, Newton; G. M. Robertson, Hauturu ; J. ('. Spedding, Auckland ; E. Trounson, Kaihu; C. Wheeler, Newton; G. H. White, Pukekohe.
Among other new justices are Mr. E. 0. Cox. managing director of Birt and Co., Sydney: Mr. F. W. Jackson, manager U.S.S. Company, Sydney ; Mr. E. V. Reid, manager Dalgety and Co., London; and Mr. A. B. Robinson, Executive Commissioner for Victoria at the New Zealand International Exhibition.
