GiSBORNK, Tuesday. There will not bo any rail to leave Gishorne at Easter in search of athletic diversion. Already the events sets down for decision include a sports gathering, rifle association mooting', tennis tournament, and cricket carnival, while bowlers will be busy. Napier tennis players and bowlers arc both likely to visit Gishorne at Easter, and Auckland, Hawkes Bay, and East Coast oricketrs are expected to make a rendezvous here at the samo time.
The Charitable Aid Board this evening .-eoeivcd the plan of the isolation ward proposed to be erected adjoining the hospital grounds. The building wilt consist of seven » rooms, comprising male 'and female wards, , each with a bathroom attached, nurses' room, sittingroom, and kitchen. The cotft is estimated at £900, ;
