By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.
Melbourne, January 28. The Chief Justice (Sir John Madden), who has just returned from England, says that all the industries of England arc flourishing, excepting agriculture. While many farmers are desirous of emigrating, the distance to Australia and the cost of getting here prevent large numbers from coming.
