UNABLE TO VISIT AUSTRALIA.

Thk Governor-General lias received a cablegram from the Duke of Conuaught stating that he deeply appreciates the kind invitation te visit Australia, and sincerely regrets that it is impossible for him to alter his arrangements, which have been made long in advance.
The Duke and Duchess of Comiaught and the Princess Patricia are at present on a visit to the Straits Settlements. On behalf of the Government of Australia Lord Northcote recently invited the Royal party to extend their voyage to Australia.
