Tin: annual meeting of shareholders of the Hikurangi Coal Company, Ltd., was held in the company's office, Victoria Arcade, yesterday. the lion. K. MiteiielMm in the chair. The accounts fur the last twelve months slmwed ilia; ilit- volume of business had been more than maintained, with excellent financial results. The directors' ieport and balance-sheet were adopted. The retiring directors. Messrs. ]•'.. Mitchelson and F. dagger, were re-elected, and Mr. R. K. Issues was appointed auditor. The dividend for the half-year (which is at tile rate of ten per cent, per annum) and the bonus (sixpence per share) are now able to shareholders.
