ISSUE OF SHAKES. [rr.oii our owx (ORI'.tSI'ON'UKNT.] London", December 15. i I am officially informed by the secretary i of the Waihi Grand Junction Gold Mining Company that, in order to .-ide funds required for further additions to the plant and for development of the properties, the directors of that company have decided t" issue 18.500 shares, which will bring the issued capital up to £280,000. The shales are offered at a premium of £1 per shutu to shareholders on the register on December 6, in the proportion of one share for every 16 shares held, without fraction.". Holders of less than 16 shares will be entitled to apply for one share. The instalments are payable as follows: Five shillings on application (2s 6d on account of capital, 2s 6d on account of premium), 5s on allotment (2s 6d on account of capital. 2s 6d on account of premium), 10s two mouths after allotment (5s on account of capital, 5s on account of premium), ai-d the balance in calls not exceeding 10s per share, at intervals of not less than two months. The entire issue has been guaranteed, the consideration being that the un derwriters are to be allotted 2300 shares at £2 per share, these shares being the balance of the 18,500 shares, over and above the number now ottered to the shareholders. The following directors of the company have arranged to underwrite part of the present issue, namely: Mr. George Rothwell, 2000 shares, Mr. J. \V. Broomhead, or his nominee, 1000 shares, Mr. Herbert Douglas Bishupp, or his nominee, 2500 shares, Mr. James Calvert, 2000 shares.
