MEETINGS.
SAILORS' HOME COUNCIL.
The monthly meeting of the Auckland Sailors' Home Council was hold last evening, there being present: Messrs. 11. Peak (president), T. Gresham, J. Giles, R. Fhipps, and E. Potter. The receipts for the month wore reported to bo £177 ss, and expenditure £190 13s 6d, leaving a debit balance of £293 10s 3d. The average number of visitors for the month was 37.3, as against 33.2 for the month preceding. Captain Campbell resigned M a member of the council, owing to inability to attend meetings, and the resignation was accepted with regret, tho captain being thanked, for his past service'.
