BOWLING.
PROGRAMME FOR AUSTRALIANS' VISIT. The Australian bowlers, who are about to tour New Zealand, will arrive in Auckland by i In* Sydney boar duo to-morrow. They will bo met by His Worship the Mayor (Mr. A. M. Myers, president, of the local association), Mr. ,las. Car law (vice-president), and Mi-, (J. M. Osmond (secretary). The visitors will be taken to the Star Hot-el, which will be their headquarter* while in Auckland. In the afternoon they will bo driven round the suburbs, as the' guests of the president. On Monday, at. ten a.m.. a public reception will be accorded them by the Mayor at- the .Municipal Chambers*. After this they will leave for Dcvonport, and again being the guests of the president, will be driven round Lake Takapuna and dine at the Lake Hotel. In the afternoon they will play the first test match against Auckland, on the Dovonporr. green. Monday evening has been left, blank. On Tuesday morning they will be taken round the harbour in the Kestrel, and in tin- afternoon will play the second test match, on the Auckland green. In the evening they will be the guests of the local association at His Majesty's Theatre. Wednesday morning will be spent in and around the public buildings, and in the afternoon the third test match will be played, on the Ponsonby green. In the evening a steamer for a moonlight exclusion will he placed at the disposal of the visitors, and for this bowlers and their friends may obtain rickets from the various club secretaries. On Thursday the visitors go to Rolorua, where they will be present at- an open-air concert in the evening and a haka and poi dance on Kriday." On Saturday they, will play the representative bowlers of Rotorua, and in the evening a social will be given them in thy To Ro'uga Kiosk. They will then proceed to Wellinglon \ in lie- W'aiigauui River. Altogether the programme i- one thai, should be moat enjoyable to I he visitor*.
