Rugby has won the Schools of the Empire rifle competition with a total of 476 points ; Brisbane was fifteenth with 446 ; Wanganui eighteenth with 442; Maryborough twenty-second with 440; Wellington twenty-third with 438; 'Wesley College (Melbourne) thirtieth with 427; Cheltenham (Victoria) thirty-first with 427; Scotch College (Melbourne) thirty-fifth with 422, Armidale (New South Wales) thirty-sixth with 420.
Hilton College (Natal) won the junior match with 427; Ipswich (Queensland) was eleventh with 338 ; King's School (Parramatta) sixteenth with 303, and Wesley College (Melbourne) seventeenth with 293.
