ISOLATION HOSPITAL FOR GISBORNE.

Gisborne, Monday. A conference of local bodies interested was held on Saturday afternoon in regard to the erection of ail isolation hospital. It is unanimously felt that such a building is needed, but there is a strong objection to its being erected in the hospital grounds. Drs. Mason ;j(chief he-alth officer) and De Lisle (district health officer) were present, and urged that the site offered 110 danger if the precautions advised were taken. On the matter bejj|g put to the vote the site recommended was approved of. Drs. Mason and Do Li.do left for the South to-night.
