SALE OF WORK.
The annual sale of work promoted by the boys and girls of the "Mission boo," Parnell, in aid of home and foreign missions was held in St. Mary's Parish Hall on. Saturday. The sale was opened in the afternoon by the Rev. Canon. Mac Murray, who delivered a few well-chosen remarks. A number of stalls containing fancy ami other goods were arranged around the hall, and were well patronised. The fancy -work done by the children was exceptionally good and indicated the enthusiasm displayed by them in connection with the sale. A word of praise is due to Miss Lodge, who acted' as organiser. The sale was continued in the evening, when it was largely attended.
