Mr. C. G. Tegetmeier, chairman of directors of the Auckland Electric Tramways Company, and Mr. Emile Garcke, managing director of the British Electric Traction Company, were passengers from Sydney by the Mokoia yesterday. In the afternoon they were shown oyer the Auckland tramway system by Mr. P. M. Hansen, managing director of the company. Mr. Tegetmeier will remain in New Zealand for about two months, and Mr. Garcke will also spend some time in the colony.
