Wkjxixgtox, Tuesday. Thk Premier, replying to a. deputation at Wanganui. which urged expenditure on road works in the district, uttered a warning against an impression which, he said, was growing up all over the country that, because times were prosperous, they ought to put on an enormous amount of steam, far more than they were entitled to do.
