BOWLING.

At a meeting held in the Epsom Hall on Monday evening (Mr. E. W. Burton in the chair) the question of forming a bowling club was further considered. It was decided that a club, to be called the Epsom Bowling and Croquet Club, be formed, the selection of a site being left in the hands of a committee. The scheme for raising the necessary money required was submitted, and approved, and Sir John Logan Campbell was elected patron of the club. Mr. E. W. Burton was elected president. Messrs. E. Craivr. and F. C. Jones vice-presidents, and Mr. S. 11. Harrison secretary and treasurer. Over fifty names of members were handed in, and upwards of £150 was promised in the room.
