Dunedin, Monday. The Union Steam Ship Company has purchased the new cargo steamer Holy wood, now being finished at the shipbuilding yards of Messrs. Osborne, Graham, and Co., Sunderland. The new vessel is a sister ship to the Union Company's steamer Kahuna, and has been renamed the Kaiapoi. Her registered tonnage is 1970, and she will be despatched about the end of the present month for Newcastle, where she will load a cargo of coal for New Zealand ports. , H
