The men's foursomes will, occupy the attention of golfers to-day. , These had to bo postponed on the 7th inst. owing to the bad weather. The draw is the same as published in the Herald on the 7th, and is as follows:—Rutherford and Dawson (handicap 23) play Colbeck and Gilfillan (5), Ball and Bruce (15) play' Rendoll and Walker (18), H. The George cup (bogey) will be played next Saturday, and the play for the Fry challenge trophy has been postponed until September 1. In response to an invitation, an Auckland team will in all probability pay a visit to Hamilton on Saturday next try conclusions with a local team. ' : '

The championship meeting of the Auck- 1 land Ladies' Golf Club was commenced at the Cornwall Park links on Thursday, withi a bogey match. Miss. Millie Cotter was the; winner in the senior division with 10 down'; on bogey. In the * junior-division Miss Bramwell and Miss Nora- Gorrie tied for first place, both being 9 down on bogey. The match for the championship will be begun j on Monday. with approaching and putting, j Foursomes* will be played on Tuosday after- ; noon. .' ■
