OLYMPIA SKATING RINK.
The Olympia Skating, Rink was wwll patronised on Saturday. The evening session attracted a record attendance for the season. A polo match was contested between Ponsonby (Mr. G. lVlham, captain) and Grafton (Mr. B. Pascoe), captain). After an exoiting game it, ended in a draw. These clubs will meet again this month. This evening a couple race (lady and gentleman) will take place. A good number of entries have been received. On Wednesday next a ladies' graceful skating contest will take place, the prize being a gold medal.. Friday will be the opening night of the Auckland Dancing Academy. A string band has been engaged for the occasion.
